Apple Cider Vinegar and Candida – How to Use Apple Cider Vinegar to Relieve Candida
Candida can be eased with apple cider vinegar. Candida symptoms respond quite quickly to apple cider vinegar. You can either ingest the vinegar or apply directly to the affected area(s). Either way you first have to dilute it. And you need to ensure that only unfiltered, unpasteurized, raw vinegar is used without additives or preservatives. Here are three methods for using it against Candida.
1 – Apple cider vinegar in the bath
To tackle vaginal Candida, run a low, warm bath sufficient to completely cover the vagina. Then add two cups of apple cider vinegar and mix thoroughly. Soak for at least 20 minutes, preferably 30 minutes if you can. Open up the lips of the vagina so that the whole area can benefit. Repeat twice a day until the Candida symptoms go.
2 – Apple cider vinegar as a douche
Mix two tablespoons of vinegar into two quarts of warm water. Soak a cotton pad and gently douche the area. If you can, do this twice a day until the symptoms of Candida have gone.
3 – Apple cider vinegar as a drink
Drink diluted vinegar three times a day to help recover the good bacterial balance in your gut. This will help reduce Candida there and reduce the likelihood of Candida spreading to other parts like your vagina. To dilute, add three teaspoons of vinegar to a glass (8 oz.) of water.
You can get it in health food stores, some grocery stores and online. But remember, it’s best unfiltered and unpasteurized, with no preservatives or additives. Ensure you read the label. If you still aren’t sure then speak to the owner of the shop or staff member.
