Black Mobile Phone – Candy Bar Mobile Phone
The new phone introduced by Nokia is the 6233. This is a black mobile phone. It is a simple candy bar phone. The phone’s dimensions are 108 x 46 x 18 mm; and quite light at 110 gms. It has a plastic body with a shiny metallic frame and a matt surface which gives the phone a classy look. The back of the phone has a matt rubber finish.
Display
The phone comes with a large great TFT display screen. It has a large 256K screen 30 x 40 mm size and offers a 320 x 240 pixels resolution that is brilliant.
Keypad
Right below the display is the keypad. It features a central navigation D-pad which is rather comfortable for you to use and provides precise navigation. The keys are very well spaced which allows for fast typing. The central navigation D-pad is also present below the display screen. This 5-way D-Pad makes navigation quite easy. The Volume UP/DOWN buttons are given to the right and a camera hotkey towards the end. The left side of the phone has a PTT (Push To Talk) activation button. A longer press on the zero key activates the phone Web browser. In the dark the keypad glows in blue color and it would be so easy for you to view it.
Camera
The camera is placed as an impression and has a self-portrait mirror beside it. It has a2 mega pixel camera. The maximum resolution is 1600 x 1200 pixels. It also offers you a 8x digital zoom. This black mobile phone takes pictures in landscape mode using the camera right side button. The phone also offers you a night mode, a self-release timer, and an image sequence shoot mode. The camera has VGA recording, which is great to see in a Series 40 phone. Video clips are recorded in the .3gp format at a speed of 15 frames per second.
Audio
The sound of the stereo loudspeakers is of pretty good quality. The Nokia Audio Manager enables the use of the mp3 player provided on the device.
Other Features
The camera offers Bluetooth, Infra-red, and USB via POP-Port. It also has GPRS Class 10, HSCSD, EDGE, and 3G as well. It also has a WAP 2.0 browser and comes with 3 games loaded; Nokia World Cup, 3D Street Racer, and 3D Snake.
